hey, that’s me

Kady Clark began with graphite and canvas long before screens and software. With roots in traditional art, she earned recognition through numerous award-winning pieces, building a foundation in composition, contrast, and visual storytelling early on.

But she wanted more.

As technology reshaped the creative landscape, she made a deliberate shift — choosing not the path of the struggling artist, but one of evolution. She pursued graphic design in college, merging her fine art background with strategic visual communication.

An internship in print became an eleven-year immersion into the production side of design. She has worked extensively in commercial printing, gaining deep technical knowledge of preflight, imposition, dielines, color management, and press operations. From plate makers to digital Ricoh presses, she understands not only how design looks — but how it lives and breathes in physical form.

Her digital footprint runs throughout Austin. She has designed for organizations and brands including Flavors of Austin, ZACH Theatre (where she contributed to the launch of their refreshed branding), Texas State University, SAFE Alliance, Celebrate Austin, Explore Austin, Mary Lee Foundation, Westminster, Miiller's Meats, Berdoll Pecan Company, Southwest Drycleaners, PHCC, HealthTronics, and Livestrong Foundation — as well as numerous high schools and family-run businesses.

Her work is versatile, bold, and expressive — but always clear. Grounded in fine art discipline and sharpened by production expertise, she designs with both vision and precision.

Now, she is focused on growth. Not just designing well — but designing with purpose. Creating work that doesn’t just exist, but matters. Not just good design — but great design.
